Laundry Waterproofing

We waterproof laundry floors, floor-waste connections and wall-floor junctions around your appliances. Our team prepares the base, details the pipe penetrations and coordinates the tiled finish so you can get the laundry back into use.

Laundry waterproofing around floor wastes and wall junctions
Waterproofing for laundry floors, wall junctions and moisture-exposed surfaces around appliances and fixtures.
Included in your agreed scope
- Preparation of the agreed floor and wall areas
- Junction and penetration detailing
- Membrane installation and surface finishing
Appliance leaks and moisture beneath the laundry finish
A supply hose, drain connection or appliance fault can release water onto a sound floor. That source requires separate plumbing or appliance attention; a new membrane does not repair the connection. Note whether dampness appears during filling, draining or while the machine is idle. Avoid disconnecting equipment just to collect evidence. We discuss the pattern and inspect accessible surfaces before deciding whether the floor build-up needs opening.
Floor waste junctions, penetrations and equipment access
We assess any floor waste together with the surrounding falls, pipe penetrations and wall-floor junctions. We check the base and how the selected system joins retained surfaces, then agree who moves, disconnects and reinstates appliances or the tub. The written quote separates removal and preparation, membrane work and tiling; additional damage found after opening is discussed before the scope changes.
Laundry membranes around wastes and pipe penetrations
We select compatible primer, pipe collars or specified tape, corner details and waste connections for the laundry base. A moisture barrier is not automatically the main wet-area membrane; the product’s preparation and covering conditions still apply.
Laundry membrane work and appliance access
- Review the affected area and confirm access, the moisture pattern and suitability.
- Agree an itemised written quote covering preparation, materials, boundaries, finish and exclusions.
- Prepare the accessible base and carry out the agreed work, with checks appropriate to the selected system.
- Explain curing, return to use and care at handover. Timing follows the materials and site conditions.
Laundry floor tiling and connected wet areas
For moisture-exposed surfaces around retained cabinets see kitchen waterproofing. A shower enclosure has a different use pattern: see bathroom waterproofing.
