Other wall and floor tiling areas

Internal floor work, including connected-room layout and floor height transitions, is explained on our floor tiling page. A laundry with wet-area requirements also needs the relevant laundry waterproofing scope considered before finishes are installed.

Worn joints do not always mean the whole surface needs retiling. For shower joints, compare shower regrouting and silicone resealing; for loose or cracked tiles, start with local tile repair. Recurring moisture needs its source assessed, not covered with a new finish.

Small tiling jobs outside the named room services

We handle installation, local replacement and joint renewal in small tiled spaces. Specialist stonework and structural repairs require a separate scope; pool-interior enquiries follow our pool waterproofing service.

Moisture beneath tiles and preparation boundaries

A damp patch beneath loose tiles needs its source assessed before a new finish is agreed. We check the accessible base and explain whether removal or further investigation forms part of the proposed work. The size of a patch alone does not determine preparation. Material supply, cuts into retained finishes and access restrictions are confirmed in the written quote.

Small porcelain and ceramic installations beyond the main rooms

Porcelain floor tiles, ceramic wall tiles and feature pieces still need cuts around fittings and transitions into retained finishes, even in a small area.

Tell us where the tiles will go, their dimensions and whether old tiles need removal. A product photo or link helps us discuss the material and intended finish without asking you to identify the installation system yourself.

Small-area tile preparation and finished transitions

  1. Assess the accessible surface, its condition and the intended finish.
  2. Confirm preparation, material responsibility, boundaries and access in a written scope.
  3. Prepare the base and complete the agreed installation or joint renewal, coordinating connected work.
  4. Explain cleaning, curing and return to use at handover. Timing follows the selected materials and site conditions.
